ChatHub is a Chrome extension that helps users capture, import, search, and organize AI chat conversations across supported websites.

2. Data We Process

To provide core functionality, ChatHub processes conversation content that users can view on supported AI chat websites and choose to capture/import.

ChatHub also processes basic extension state data, such as import progress and UI state.

3. How Data Is Stored

ChatHub is local-first. Conversation data is stored locally in the user’s browser (IndexedDB and extension storage) for search and organization.

4. Data Sharing

ChatHub does not sell personal data and does not use user data for advertising.

ChatHub does not transfer conversation content to a separate backend server for core functionality.

5. Permissions Use

• sidePanel: provides the main extension UI.
• storage: stores local extension state.
• activeTab: enables user-triggered capture/import on the active tab.
• tabs: identifies supported open tabs for import routing.
• scripting: injects content scripts on supported domains to capture/import conversations.
• Host permissions: limited to supported AI chat domains required for extension functionality.

6. User Control

Users control when to capture/import data and can delete conversations from the extension.

7. Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect data processed by the extension.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
